Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information MS Beverage Reporting (the “Service”), an official resource of the Office of Senator Scott DeLano, collects, how it is used, and how it is protected. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and a password (passwords are stored in a securely hashed form and are never visible to us).
- Store information — the store name and permit number you provide when registering.
- Reports you submit — the details of each order or delivery problem, such as issue type, dates, estimated or confirmed losses, and your description of what happened.
- Evidence — any files you choose to attach to a case, such as invoices or photos.
- Basic technical data — limited information needed to operate and secure the Service, such as sign-in activity.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and store;
- To receive, review, triage, and resolve the reports you submit;
- To communicate with you about your account and cases (for example, account confirmation and status updates);
- To produce aggregate statistics and reports that help identify where problems are occurring across the state.
3. Who can see your information
Access is limited by role:
- Program administrators (authorized state personnel) can see reports and store details in order to review and resolve them.
- Legislators and auditors have read-only oversight access to every submitted report, including the store name, permit number, address, owner and contact details, the name and email of the person who filed the report, case notes, and attached files. They cannot change, add to, or delete anything.
- Your store’s reports are visible to your own account.
Please read this before you file: a report you submit is not anonymous. Your store and your name are visible to program administrators, legislators, and auditors.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
4. How your information is protected
Your information is stored with a reputable cloud provider. Access is restricted and requires authentication, and sign-in supports multi-factor authentication. Store accounts can reach only their own store’s reports. Access beyond that is limited to the authorized state roles described in section 3.
5. Service providers
We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Service, which process information on our behalf: cloud hosting and database services, content delivery and security, and email delivery. These providers are permitted to use the information only to provide their services to us.
6. Who operates this service
MS Beverage Reporting is an initiative of the Office of Senator Scott DeLano. It is not an official website of the State of Mississippi or any state agency, and information you submit is held to operate this program rather than in a state agency system. We may disclose information where required by law or valid legal process.
7. Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to operate the program and to meet applicable record-keeping obligations.
8. Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information by contacting us at sdelano@senate.ms.gov. Some information may be retained where required by law.
9. Cookies
The Service uses only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in. It does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
10. Children
The Service is intended for business and government use and is not directed to children.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
