Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of MS Beverage Reporting (the “Service”), an official resource of the Office of Senator Scott DeLano, Mississippi State Senate, District 50. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who may use the Service

The Service is intended for Mississippi package (beer, wine, and liquor) store owners and staff who wish to report problems with their Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) orders and deliveries, and for authorized state personnel who administer or review the program. You must provide accurate information and, when registering a store, represent that you are authorized to do so on that store’s behalf.

2. Your account

• Keep your password confidential and your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• The store name and permit number you provide may be verified. Providing false, misleading, or unauthorized information may result in suspension or removal of your account and any associated stores.
• Notify us promptly at sdelano@senate.ms.gov if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, fraudulent, or intentionally misleading reports;
• Upload or submit confidential information belonging to others without authorization;
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or areas of the Service you are not authorized to use;
• Interfere with, disrupt, scrape, overload, or attempt to compromise the Service; or
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

4. Reports and content you submit

You are responsible for the accuracy of the reports, descriptions, and evidence you submit. By submitting content, you grant the Service permission to store, process, and use it to operate the program — including reviewing your reports and producing aggregate statistics. Reports are reviewed by program administrators; submission does not guarantee any particular outcome or resolution.

Reports are not anonymous. Program administrators, and legislators and auditors granted oversight access, can see each report in full — including your store name, permit number, address, owner and contact details, the name and email of the person who filed it, and any files attached. Do not submit anything you are not willing to have those officials read.

4a. Oversight access

Accounts granted the legislative viewer or auditor role receive read-only access to all reports described above for the purpose of legislative and audit review. Holders of those roles agree to use the information only for that purpose, to protect it from further disclosure, and not to republish store-identifying or reporter-identifying details except as required by law.

5. Availability and disclaimer

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any reported issue will be resolved. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Office of Senator Scott DeLano and its personnel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how it is used and protected.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to accounts that violate these Terms or that submit false or abusive content, with or without notice.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
